Live Blood microscopy

Unlike the normal test complete blood count(CBC) that you get from the doctor's your blood is analyzed live and behaves as though it were inside the body. For example when you visit the doctor you have to have a syringe placed in your arm to remove blood. You normally have to wait some days or weeks for the results. However half an hour after the cells are taken from the body they are no longer living so what you get is a count of how many dead red blood cells how many dead white blood cells etc. What this test cannot tell you is if the white blood cells (Your immune system) is working correctly or not.

Live blood testing on the other hand involves a tiny non-invasive pin prick on the finger tip by a single-use finger lance (similar to the ones you can get in Boots) to extract a fresh drop of your living blood this is then placed on a microscope slide for viewing/analysis under a high-power video-microscope. The image from the slide is transmitted to a computer monitor and by using different modes: dark field, bright field and phase contrast video you can observe along with your consultant what the blood cells are revealing. The procedure allows the direct inspection and interpretation of over fifty possible features of the bloodstream, red blood cells, and white blood cells.

With live blood analysis the individual actually gets to see their own white blood cells moving around collecting bacteria on a screen. Since the white blood cells represent the immune system it is more useful to know if it is working properly rather than how many dead white blood cells there are.

There is no waiting around for weeks for the results because they are instantaneous in a way that one can understand. Phenomena can be observed that cannot be seen by CBC. Live blood analysis is an excellent means of viewing by microscope the red blood cells, various types of white blood cells, platelets, and blood plasma, just as they function in the body. The presence of yeast, fungi, mould, hormonal imbalances, sugar intolerance, immune system activity, gastro-intestinal tract dysfunction parasites, bacteria active somewhere in the body, damaged cells, cholesterol crystals, and uric acid crystals can be easily identified. The size and shape of the red blood cells may indicate stress levels, nutritional deficiencies, digestive problems, absorption problems and the damaging effects of free radicals.
